A GLIMPSE OF EXHIBITIONS/GROUP SHOWS HELD IN THE PAST

Chronology of the Exhibitions held by “Kshitij-An Art Society”

3rd All India Child Art Exhibition-1998

In year 1998, Kshitij organized its 3rd All India Child Art Exhibition at Bal Bhawan, Gurgaon from 28th December 1998 to 2nd January 1999.  More than 7500 paintings have been received  from all parts of the country. Kshitij has also invited handicap & other artists who are unable to pay  the entry fee for free of cost participation & it got an overwhelming response. Around 340 handicap artists participated from different states namely, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan.

Renowned people in the field of art (Shri Dulal Mondal - Lecturer Painting, New Delhi and Dr. G.P. Bagoria - Art Educationist, New Delhi) chose 1954 paintings out of which 128 paintings were short listed for awards as under 36 Gold Medal, 36 Silver Medal, 56 Bronze Medal and 1826 Merit Certificates were awarded to the participants.

In addition Seven Kshitij Ratna Award for Principal and Art Teachers for “Inspiring Co-operation to children” are given to :

- Mayoor School, Ajmer (Rajasthan)

- Kulachi Hansraj Model School (Delhi)

- N.K. Bagrodia Public School (Delhi)

- St. Joseph’s Convent School, Faridabad (Haryana)

- Sri Rajeshwari Vidya Niketan, Gadag Dt. (Karnataka)

- Delhi Public School, Murshidabad (West Bengal)

- Ninad Art Class, Ahmedabad (Gujarat)
