AIMS AND OBJECTIVES…….

Kshitij, well organized Art society was formed in 1994 with the sole aim of providing a platform, to the established as well as upcoming artists, to make their presence felt in the field of art. Since its inception it has been successfully conducting Exhibitions, Workshops, Demonstrations, Competitions etc. for all age groups to encourage one and all to come up and exhibit the hidden and unexplored virgin talent. The society had a modest beginning but it has shaped up very well over the past few years and are well established organizations now with clear aim and vision. Its primary objectives include

- Organizing activities for promotion of Art on national as well as international level

- Organizing exhibitions, workshops, training camps and demonstrations for children, upcoming and established artists

- Organizing National & International level competitions

- Giving awards and scholarships to deserving artists

- Helping handicapped people to promote their artistic talents

- Honoring talented artists

- Organizing special program exclusively on Girl Child for promotion of women status in society

- Conducting various programs for slum-dwellers to unearth hidden talents amongst them Enabling artists to sell their works as well

Consequently, owing to the demands of participating schools, the governing body of this organization has decided to organize exhibitions for Kshitij separately at two-three different times every year.
